After 4 Rounds of Swiss, The top 4 were:

Julian Hood

Scott Wallbank

Tom Duncan

Phil Rawles

At this point we cut, and said goodbye to the rest of the competitors. With a quick break to caffeinate the competitors, we moved into the Semi-Final!

After brief discussion we decided to Pair the 1st and 3rd ranked players, and the 2nd and 4th ranked players to avoid immediate duplication of a 4th round match!

The Semi Finals were:

Julian Hood vs Tom Duncan

Scott Wallbank vs Phil Rawles

Tom beat Julian 100 to 34,

Scott beat Phil 100 to 41.

"The Loser's Final"

We ran a "Loser's Final" to definitively place the 3rd and 4th ranked players

This matched Phil and Julian, who regularly play together, and had faced each other earlier in the tournament...

In an upset to the usual order of things, Phil beat Julian, securing 3rd place, leaving Julian in 4th!

The Final!

Replicating Round 4 of the Swiss, Scott & Tom faced off!, in a tense game, fought to the death, Tom finally destroyed Scott's Imperial Shuttle to secure the victory, but unknown to Scott, had won a previous Store Championship, and Surprised him by handing over the Bye Card!
